Last year he was so close to winning when he was leading the pack after the first round.

Korean and Korean born players have been dominating the Malaysian golf recently after Charlie Wie and Anthony Kang won the recent past Malaysian Open and the crowd favourite KJ Choi also won the Iskandar Open last year. With the win Noh received a cheque of USD333,333 as the winners’ prize money.
