The South African has a very unstable year last year dropping from the top 10 players to 40th in the world rankings.

Goosen used the old putter he used to win the US Open and it worked. Last year we saw Retief used the longer belly putter and failed to produce some good results. He changed back to his old swashbuckler putter which he has resigned to the back of his garage and managed to find back his touch.

Why would want to change our putter after it helped us to win a major championship. With the win We should see more of Retief Goosen in the near future. Now that he decided to play more in the US PGA, we do hope that Retief will play more tournaments in Europe and Asia.
